On the left, there is space to add Pictures, Music, and other Media. There is a video preview on the right-side. The first port of Windows Movie Maker was made for this. The first release was included with Windows Me in 2000, but it was not available in Windows 2000, which was released months before the former, explaining its absence. Movie Maker was officially discontinued on Januand was replaced by Video Editor, which is built in with Microsoft Photos on Windows 10. It was a part of the Windows Essentials software suite and allowed users to create and edit videos as well as publish them to various services like YouTube, Vimeo, and OneDrive. Windows Windows Movie Maker (known as Windows Live Movie Maker for its 20 releases) is a discontinued freeware video editing software program developed by Microsoft.
